YES, WE ARE TRYING TO RUN THIS LEAGUE LIKE A TRUE SEASON IN THE NFL> DO TO RESTRICTIONS WIT THE WAY ONLINE LEAGUES WORK< WE WILL HAVE SOME DIFFICULTIES ACHIEVING THAT< ONLINE FRANCHISES ARE DIFFERENT IN EA EYES THAN ONLINE LEAGUES< BOTH WILL BE IN MADDEN 2010.

This is the first year the league has switched to PS3.

We've always played a real season, real teams, and real playoff bracketts .. It ain't changing now.

On ps2 we spawned the games to the ea locker online-- then saved the results back to the season. Im not exactly sure how to run it on ps3 but ill figure it out...suggestions?

THis is the info from pastapasdre on the online leagues, and it does not look promising. Maham is currently looking into a way of running the league without using the online league feature, so that we will be able to run a realistic 16-game schedule, with divisions, and currect schedules, and 12 teams playoffs w/bye for top 2 in each conference. We will update you as soon as we figure it out.

looks like league daddy is the best way to go. i will pay the 30 bucks for the service myself. If there are any suggestions about ways to run this league without using the online league feature in madden,or league dady, or if anyone knows of any software for setting up seasons let us know.

if its on leauge daddy does it mean after every game we will have to go back and input the stats ourselves?

this is not what I or Maham wanted but the online leagues are BS, yes I believe of league dady you have to put in your own stats, I have not signed up yet for the fear of people like zombiewriter bailing on us

i was not able to add maybe 7-8 people on the list of teams this morning...maybe not their actual psn?

I might have to go to I was hoping they where like the NCAA dynasties,but if they are not this will suck ass i can't believe this. I was looking forward to this, well I'll stick around u guys will figure it out I have in one a few years ago for the ps2 and it was fun so I"m down.

I am planning on setting up a league daddy account later today, at the very least me and maham can play are season like that. We it set up like a real NFL season. I am not going to waste my time with the crap EA online leagues, they really dissapointed me with this one. I am sorry to all those that signed up here, I would not have wasted anyones time if I knew how horrible the online leagues were. I am gonna set something up through leaguedaddy, but you have to go and put the stats in yourself. I am going to pay the 30 bucks out of my own pocket. Anyone who wants in let me know. If you have already signed up for the league here and want in, your spot is secure, you must let me know. I understand if some of you arent interested. Dont blame me, blame EA! THat sucks becuse I genreally stick up for EA, But they blew this one.

And here's a site I use to do back in the 2K days, that went really smoothly.

There were no stats, but what they wanted was everyone to play every game on their schedule in like a 2 month window frame.

So you could play all 16 games in 1 week if you really wanted to. You would then create another topic on the forum, for the winner to post the score of each game, and a little summary.

This is probably one of the most successful sites at this.

ya ya I play PS3, but I use to have a 360 and do that. It's great everyone has to give eachother everyones AIM, and it goes by very smoothly

no you would not have to pay 30$, you have to pay nothing. I would pay the 30 bucks myself for the league. More details soon

Oh yea you have to use two ii.. its iiamlegend but i havent been online in a day or two.

Unless there is something that we know about the online league, me and Maham have decided to set it up this way. WE will use maddens online league feature. USERS will all play are scheduled 16 games their teams are scheduled, you can play any game on your schedule at any time. WE will set up the division and conference threads on this site and post standings. After all teams have completed their schedule, we will then run the playoffs a on a new league. Is this cool for everyone?

we are playing against each other online. We may be able to manipulate the EA league software to play the games online through their league software. Then, I would record the division standing here.

It won't be too difficult to keep track of division standings so that we have an real playoff bracket in the end. Our goal is to have a 16 game season going by the NFL schedule. Then all we do is record the division winners and wild card spots. We have to track the scores too because thats what the NFL does if there is a tie for the wildcard.

There is a developer on a website thats answering a few questions that i asked.
